On Wednesday, the Edmonton Elks signed former University of Tennessee-Martin quarterback Keon Howard.
Keon Howard (23-years-old) played ten games at UT-Martin in 2021 as a graduate transfer with 154 of 258 completions for 1,811 yards, 15 touchdowns, seven interceptions, 96 carries for 472 yards and ten touchdowns. He was named Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
Howard started his collegiate career at Southern Mississippi (2016-17) for two seasons, playing in 13 games with 118 of 220 completions for 1,564 yards, nine touchdowns, nine interceptions, 98 carries for 331 yards, and two touchdowns.
After Southern Mississippi, Howard transferred to Tulane, playing ten games for two seasons (2019-20) with 38 of 76 completions, three touchdowns, one interception, 27 carries for 125-yards, and two touchdowns.
