Edmonton Elks releases LB Malik Clements and OL Jahair Jones

On Thursday, the Edmonton Elks released offensive lineman Jahair Jones and linebacker Malik Clements.

Jahair Jones (25-years-old) played ten games for the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League as an offensive lineman and defensive lineman. He made one tackle. Jones played college at the University of Miami (2015-18) and appeared in twelve games, earning five starts at left guard.

Malik Clements (25-years-old) played seven games in 2021 with eleven tackles and two special teams tackles.

Clements played 50 games in four seasons (2015-18) at the University of Cincinnati with 187 tackles, two sacks, one interception, six passes defended, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
