On Monday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive lineman Nick Coe, offensive lineman Bryce Hargrove, and linebacker Justice Momoka. In addition to the signings, the Roughriders released quarterback Paxton Lynch and defensive lineman Tim Williams.
Nick Coe (24-years-old) was on the Roughriders practice squad in 2021. In 2020, he signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent from Auburn.
After the Patriots released him, Coe went to the Miami Dolphins and was on the practice squad during the 2020 season. At Auburn, Coe played 36 games in three seasons (2017-19) with 71 tackles, nine sacks, one pass defended, and two forced fumbles.
Bryce Hargrove (24-years-old) tried out for the Atlanta Falcons in 2021 as an undrafted free agent from Pittsburgh. He played one preseason game for the Falcons.
Hargrove played 39 games in four seasons (2017-20) at the University of Pittsburgh. In his junior season, he only allowed one sack. Hargrove was named an All-ACC Honourable Mention in 2020 and All-ACC third team in 2019.
Justice Momoka (24-years-old) played 20 games in four seasons (2016, 2019-21) at the University of Alberta with 62 tackles, four forced fumbles, three sacks, two pass breakups, and one interception.
Paxton Lynch (28-years-old) did not play a game for the Roughriders. The Denver Broncos drafted Lynch in the first round (26th pick) in the 2016 NFL Draft from Memphis. He played five games with 79 of 128 completions for 792 yards, four touchdowns, four interceptions, and 16 carries for 55 yards.
Lynch played 38 games in three seasons (2013-15) at Memphis with 758 of 1,205 completions for 8,863 yards, 59 touchdowns, 23 interceptions, 288 carries for 687 yards, and 17 touchdowns.
Tim Williams (28-years-old) did not play a game for the Roughriders. Williams played 20 games in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens and Green Bay Packers with 16 tackles and two sacks. The Ravens drafted Williams in the third round (78th pick) in the 2017 NFL Draft from Alabama.
Williams played 30 games in four seasons (2013-16) with 50 tackles, 19.5 sacks, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He was a member of the 2015 CFP National Championship team.
