On Monday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver T.J. Simmons and defensive back Tyrique McGhee.
T.J. Simmons (23-years-old) tried out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 but was released during training camp. Simmons played 30 games in three seasons (2018-20) at West Virginia with 86 catches for 1,197 yards, nine touchdowns, and three carries for 12 yards.
Tyrique McGhee (23-years-old) was on the Los Angeles Rams practice squad in 2020. McGhee played 50 games in four seasons (2016-19) at the University of Georgia with 59 tackles, 0.5 sack, two interceptions, 11 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles.
