The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Utah Utes defensive back Josh Nurse on Friday.
Josh Nurse (25-years-old) tried out for the Calgary Stampeders in 2021. Before the CFL, Nurse signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2020. After the Ravens, Nurse played two regular-season games for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Nurse played 40 games in three seasons (2017-19) at Utah with 34 tackles, one sack, six pass breakups, one force fumble, and one fumble recovery. Before Utah, Nurse played six games at Georgia Military College in 2016 as a wide receiver.
