On Monday, the BC Lions added a pair of defensive linemen Calvin Bundage and Sione Tehuema.
Calvin Bundage (23-years-old) tried out for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021 as an undrafted free agent from Oklahoma State.
Bundage played 46 games in five seasons (2016-20) at Oklahoma State with 148 tackles and 11.5 sacks. He missed the 2019 season due to a back injury. In 2020, he was named First Team Academic All-Big 12 and a two-time Honorable Mention All-Big 12 (2018, 2020).
Sione Tehuema (26-years-old) played seven games with the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League in 2021 with nine tackles and one sack.
Tehuema began his collegiate career at LSU, playing 16 games in two seasons (2014-15) with 20 tackles and two sacks.
After LSU, Tehuema transferred to Southeastern Louisiana and played 19 games in two seasons (2016-17) with 109 tackles, 13 sacks, one interception, three pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. In 2016, he was named All-Southland Conference Second-Team athlete
After college, Tehuema tried out for the Chicago Bears in 2018 and New York Jets in 2019. In 2019, he was briefly on the Carolina Panthers practice squad.
