Saskatchewan Roughriders signs DB Kosi Onyeka and DL David Kenney

On Monday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive back Kosi Onyeka and defensive linemen David Kenney.

Kosi Onyeka (22-years-old) played 25 games in three seasons (2017, 2019, 2021) at the University of Guelph with 64 tackles, one forced fumble, one interception, and three pass breakups. Onyeka is the cousin of current Roughrider defensive back Godfrey Onyeka.

David Kenney (27-years-old) played four pre-season games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019 with two tackles before joining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Kenney played seven games in two seasons (2013-14) at Indiana with nine tackles and one pass breakup. He transferred to Illinois State in 2015 and played seven games with 11 tackles and one sack.
