On Tuesday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed former Utah wide receiver Derrick Vickers.
Derrick Vickers (26-years-old) started his collegiate career at Bakersfield College for two seasons (2014, 2016) with 120 catches for 1,532 yards and 18 touchdowns in 22 games. Vickers was a California Community College Football Coaches Association first-team All-America.
Vickers transferred to Utah (2018-19), catching 19 passes for 202 yards, 20 carries for 94 yards, and one touchdown in 19 career games for the Utes. On special teams, Vickers had five kick returns for 118 yards.
