The Dunlop Super2 Series held race two of the 2022 season at Sydney Motorsports Park. Jaylyn Robotham was looking for the sweep after winning the first race on Saturday.
Declan Fraser won the pole and led five laps before losing the lead to Zak Best. Fraser finished in third place. A lap later, Matthew Payne passed Fraser and Best for the lead.
On the ninth lap, Zak Best got the lead back from Payne. The race ended five laps short after Ryal Harris and Nash Morris made contact that brought out the safety car. As a result, Zak Best won the race over Matthew Payne.
The rest of the top ten finishers were Declan Fraser third, Thomas Maxwell fourth, Tyler Everingham fifth, Jaylyn Robotham sixth, Aaron Seton seventh, Matt Chahda eighth, Jay Hanson ninth, and Cameron Hill tenth.
The Dunlop Super2 Series will resume its season next month at Wanneroo Raceway.
