The Reading Royals (32-12-6-2) completed the two-game sweep Sunday evening against the Wheeling Nailers (30-24-1) at the WesBanco Arena.
Reading Royals forward Kenny Hausinger scored two goals in the game, while Brad Morrison scored the other goal. For the Nailers, Sam Houde scored in the second period and Josh Maniscalco in the third period.
The Royals finished the night with 29 shots, 1/7 on the power-play, and Pat Nagle made 25 of 27 saves. For Nagle, it was his 200th career ECHL win, becoming the sixth goal in ECHL history to record 200 wins.
The Royals played the Norfolk Admirals on Wednesday at 7:30 pm from the Norfolk Scope.
