On Tuesday, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms recalled defenseman Garrett McFadden and goalie Pat Nagle from the Reading Royals (ECHL).
Garrett McFadden (24-years-old) scored three goals and ten assists (13 points) in 28 games. McFadden last played in the AHL in 2017-18 with the Laval Rocket getting one assist 1 point). McFadden played in the OHL for the Guelph Storm for five seasons (2013-18), scoring 32 goals and 115 assists (147 points) in 292 games.
Pat Nagle (34 years old) returns to the Phantoms after his latest run with the Royals. Nagle is 11-3-3-1 in Reading, with 508 of 549 saves (.925 SV%) and allowed 41 goals (2.41 GAA). In Lehigh Valley, Nagle is 7-3-3-1 with 276 of 307 saves (.899 SV%) and allowed 31 goals (2.67 GAA).
Nagle was named to the United States Men’s Hockey team but never saw action. When he returned, he showed rust and was sent down to Reading to regain his confidence.
