Saskatchewan Roughriders adds former Concordia product Maurice Simba

On Tuesday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Concordia offensive lineman Maurice Simba.

Maurice Simba (28-years-old) played one game for the Toronto Argonauts in 2019 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Week 21.

The Argonauts drafted Simba in the fourth round (29th pick) in the 2019 CFL Draft. In 2019, he attended minicamp for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Simba played four seasons at Concordia University (2015-18). He is a two-time RSEQ all-star, 2017 U Sports Second Team All-Canadian, and participated in the 2018 East-West All-Star Showcase. Simba became the first Canadian invited to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
