The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed defensive back Donald Rutledge Jr. and wide receiver Antonio Nunn on Thursday.
Donald Rutledge Jr. (24-years-old) tried out for the Arizona Cardinals in 2021, and in 2020, Rutledge tried out for the Indianapolis Colts.
Rutledge began his collegiate career on Citadel’s scout team while redshirting his freshman year in 2016.
Then, Rutledge transferred to Savannah State (2017-18) with 114 tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four interceptions, and 15 pass breakups in 21 games.
Rutledge transferred to Georgia State (2019) in his senior year with 50 tackles, one interception, and six pass breakups in 12 games.
Antonio Nunn (25-years-old) tried out for the Atlanta Falcons in 2021 and was among the final cuts during training camp.
Nunn played 45 games in four seasons at Buffalo (2017-20) with 113 catches for 1,718 yards and ten touchdowns. He had two kick returns for 24 yards and two punt returns for 20-yards on special teams.
Nunn was named to the All-MAC Second Team after posting 49 catches for 687-yards and six touchdowns in his junior year in 2019.
