On Wednesday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver/kick returner Marcus Green.
Marcus Green played one game for the Tiger-Cats in 2021 on special teams. He returned one punt for seven yards and one kickoff return for three yards.
Green played four seasons at Louisiana-Monroe (2015-2018) with 203 catches for 2,709 yards, 24 touchdowns, 51 carries for 492 yards, and one touchdown.
He returned 70 kickoffs for 1,761 yards, four touchdowns, 28 punt returns for 280 yards, and one touchdown on special teams.
The Atlanta Falcons drafted Green in the sixth round (203rd pick) in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was among the final cuts in training camp.
Then, Green signed with the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad. After the Eagles released him in 2020, he signed with the Tiger-Cats on April 16th, 2021.
