Calgary Stampeders signs three players, including DB Brad Muhammad

The Calgary Stampeders signed former Florida International defensive back Brad Muhammad on Wednesday. In addition, the Stampeders signed wide receivers Juston Christian and Khalil McClain.

Brad Muhammad played five games in 2021 with 14 tackles and one pass breakup. Muhammad has experience in the indoor game, playing for the Cedar Rapids River Kings in 2018 and the Albany Empire of the National Arena League in 2021.

Muhammad was a walk-on at Florida International (2013). He played seven games with 11 tackles and two pass breakups. After being dismissed from the team in 2013, Muhammad re-joined the Panthers in 2017 with 53 tackles, four interceptions, nine pass breakups, and one block on special teams.

Juston Christian tried out for the Baltimore Ravens in 2021 but was released in rookie camp due to a thumb injury. He later played for the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League.

Christian played four seasons at Marist (2015-18) with 189 catches for 4,069 yards, 34 touchdowns, and two carries for five yards in 42 games.

Khalil McClain tried out for the Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears in 2021. McClain played two games for Tulane in 2017.

He transferred to Hutchinson Community College in 2018, playing 12 games with 27 catches for 452-yards, five touchdowns, 35 carries for 314-yards, and four touchdowns.

Then, McClain transferred to Troy (2019-20) with 77 catches for 945-yards, 13 touchdowns, and two carries for 18-yards.
