The Toronto Argonauts signed former Central Missouri State linebacker Connor Flagel on Thursday.
Connor Flagel (27-years-old) was with the Ottawa Redblacks for two seasons but never played a game. In 2019, Flagel played for the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. The Rattlers won the 2019 IFL United Bowl over the Sioux Falls Storm. In 2018, he had a brief stint in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans and the Oakland Raiders.
Flagel played 11 games in two seasons at William Jewell (2013-14) with 42 tackles and one sack. Flagel transferred to Central Missouri State (2015-18) with 111 tackles, 4.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries in 35 games.
