Montreal Alouettes re-signs FB Christophe Normand for two years

On Tuesday, the Montreal Alouettes re-signed fullback Christophe Normand to a two-year extension through the 2023 season.

Christophe Normand (30-years-old) had two tackles and nine tackles on special teams in 2021. He’s played 32 games for the Alouettes with two tackles and 18 tackles on special teams.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers drafted Normand in the fourth round (33rd pick) in the 2015 CFL Draft from Laval. At Laval, Normand won two Vanier Cup titles (2012, 2013).

He played three seasons for the Blue Bombers with two tackles and seven tackles on special teams in 42 games.

In 2018, Normand signed with the Edmonton Elks (then known as Eskimos) with seven tackles on special teams in 15 games.
