On Tuesday, the Ottawa Redblacks signed former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Shane Wynn.
Shane Wynn (29-years-old) was on the practice squad of the New Orleans Saints in 2018 (second stint). Wynn signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He tried out for the Chargers, Browns, Jets, and Saints (first stint).
In 2016, Wynn signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster in December. Wynn played five games with one catch for 19-yards and two carries for five yards. He spent three seasons with the Jaguars (2016-18).
At Indiana (2011-14), Wynn had 189 catches for 2,198-yards, 20 touchdowns, 16 carries for 210-yards, and three touchdowns in 48 games. He had 85 kick returns for 1,854-yards, one touchdown, 20 punt returns for 167-yards, and one touchdown on special teams.
When his collegiate career ended, Wynn was tied for second in receptions (189), kick return yardage (1,854), tied third in receiving touchdowns (20), fourth in all-purpose yardage (4,429), seventh in receiving yardage (2,198), and tied for eighth in total touchdowns (25).
