Meanwhile, JoJo Ward led the Gamblers in receiving with seven catches for 48 yards, and wide receiver Isaiah Zuber had two catches for 34 yards and one touchdown. The defense had one sack, one interception, two pass breakups, and one touchdown.
For the Panthers, quarterbacks Shea Patterson and Paxton Lynch combined for 19/30 for 193 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
Panthers running back Stevie Scott III had 18 carries for 72 yards and one touchdown. Lance Lenoir Jr. led Michigan in receiving with six catches for 71 yards and one touchdown. The defense had one sack, one interception, and four pass breakups.
