On Tuesday, the Ottawa Redblacks signed former Eastern Michigan defensive back Vincent Calhoun and former Hamburg Sea Devils defensive back Marloshawn Franklin.
Vincent Calhoun (23-years-old) played one game for the Lineman of the TSL in 2021. The Middletown, Ohio, native spent four seasons at Eastern Michigan (2016-19) with 347 tackles, three sacks, seven interceptions, 20 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 50 games.
Marloshawn Franklin Jr. (25-years-old) played six games for the Hamburg Sea Devils of the European League of Football with 22 tackles, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
The Detroit, Michigan, native played two seasons at Mesa Community College (2014-15) with 46 tackles, one sack, and seven pass breakups. He was named first-team All-Western States Football League and second-team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference.
After Mesa Community College, Franklin transferred to California (2016-17), playing two seasons with 60 tackles, one sack, and nine pass breakups in 22 games.
