The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Stony Brook defensive back TJ Morrison on Tuesday.

TJ Morrison (23-years-old) signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2021. The Yonkers, New York, native played four seasons at Stony Brook (2016-20) and had 109 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, 18 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 40 games.

As a senior, Morrison had 12 tackles and one pass breakup. Morrison was nominated for the National Football Foundation’s William V. Campbell Trophy, which is awarded to the American college football player with the best combination of academics, community service, and on-field performance.
