The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Tevin Jones on Thursday.
Tevin Jones (29-years-old) tried out for the Roughriders, then later with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. In 2019, Jones played five games for the Dallas Cowboys with four catches for 61-yards. In addition to the Cowboys, Jones was on the practice squad for two seasons with the Houston Texans and two years with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Amory, Mississippi, native played five seasons at Memphis (2011-15) with 90 catches for 1,215-yards, nine touchdowns, 22 carries for 89-yards and two touchdowns.
In his junior year, Jones helped Memphis win the American Athletic Conference title (Memphis’ first title since 1971) and later the Miami Beach Bowl in a 55-48 win over BYU.
