On Saturday night at Protective Stadium, the Birmingham Stallions (3-0) defeated the New Orleans Breakers (2-1) in a battle of two undefeated teams by the final score of 22-13.
Birmingham Stallions quarterback J’Mar Smith went 15/38 for 197 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and eight carries for 59 yards.
Stallions’ running back CJ Marable had 16 carries for 36 yards, while wide receiver Victor Bolden Jr. had six catches for 70 yards and one touchdown. The Stallions’ defense had 97 tackles, four sacks, one interception, and eight pass breakups.
New Orleans Breakers quarterback Kyle Sloter was 26/47 for 240 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Breakers’ running back Jordan Ellis had 25 carries for 90 yards, while wide receiver Johnnie Dixon had seven catches for 86 yards and two touchdowns. The Breakers’ defense had 66 tackles, one sack, one interception, and five pass breakups.
