On Sunday afternoon at Protective Stadium, the Michigan Panthers (1-2) won their first game of the season with a 24-0 shutout win over the Pittsburgh Maulers (0-3).

Michigan Panthers quarterback Shea Patterson went 8/17 for 49-yards, while Paxton Lynch was 3/8 for 23-yards. The running game scored all the Panthers’ touchdowns.

Reggie Corbin, Stevie Scott III, and Cameron Scarlett combined for 35 carries for 208-yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Lance Lenoir Jr. had four catches for 41-yards, and the defense had 59 tackles and two pass breakups.

Pittsburgh Maulers’ quarterback Josh Love was 10/19 for 83-yards, while backup Kyle Lauletta went 9/12 for 42-yards. Madre London led the rushers with 11 carries for 68-yards, while wide receiver Tre Walker had five catches for 58-yards. The Maulers’ defense had 75 tackles, one sack, and five pass breakups.
