Winnipeg Blue Bombers signs three defensive players

On Tuesday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former Louisiana Tech defensive back Zach Hannibal and defensive ends L.B. Mack and Jordan Berner.

Zach Hannibal (24-years-old) played six years at Louisiana Tech (2016-21) with 69 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 57 games. The Monroe, Louisiana, native was an All-Conference USA Honorable Mention in 2020.

L.B. Mack (23-years-old) played at Rhode Island (2016-18, 2020-21) with 172 tackles, 22 sacks, three fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles, and two blocked kicks on special teams in 46 games. The Spring Valley, New York, native was named 2021 CAA Football All-Conference Second Team.

Jordan Berner (23-years-old) had 32 tackles, six sacks, one pass breakup, and two forced fumbles in the 2021 season. The Chester, Illinois, native played five seasons at Southern Illinois (2017-21) with 144 tackles, 17.5 sacks, five pass breakups, three forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks on special teams.
