The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed former Savannah State defensive back Le’Vonte Larry on Thursday.

Le’Vonte Larry (24-years-old) had 18 tackles, one forced fumble, three interceptions, and one pass breakup in seven games.

The Jessup, Georgia, native started his collegiate career at Chattanooga in 2015 but did not see any action. He transferred to Iowa Central Community College. He had 105 tackles, 26 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one interception in 11 games. In 2017, he was named JUCO All-America honors.

After Iowa Central CC, Larry went to Kennesaw State (2018-19) with 92 tackles, 0.5 sack, one interception, 12 pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 27 games. Larry was named to the 2019 All-Big South Second Team.
