Reading’s only goal came in the third period by Kevin Conley (2) with assists from Dominic Cormier and Thomas Ebbing.

For the Growlers, Ben Finkelstein, Zach O’Brien, Tyler Boland, and Derian Plouffe scored for Newfoundland.
