On Sunday, the Reading Royals lost to the Newfoundland Growlers 3-1 in game two of the ECHL playoffs at the Santander Arena. The series is tied 1-1.

Reading’s only goal came in the third period by Kevin Conley (2) with assists from Dominic Cormier and Thomas Ebbing.

For the Growlers, Ben Finkelstein, Zach O’Brien, Tyler Boland, and Derian Plouffe scored for Newfoundland.

The Royals finished the night with 27 shots, 0/4 on the power-play, and Pat Nagle made 32 of 35 saves.
