On Saturday afternoon at Protective Stadium, the New Jersey Generals (4-1) continued their hot streak with a 27-17 win over the New Orleans Breakers (3-2).
New Jersey Generals quarterback De’Andre Johnson went 14/21 for 213-yards, no touchdowns, one interception, ten carries for 39-yards and two touchdowns.
Generals’ running back Darius Victor had 17 carries for 95-yards, one touchdown, and one catch for 12-yards, while wide receiver KaVontae Turpin had five catches for 106-yards. The Generals’ defense allowed 270-yards, 66 tackles, two interceptions, and ten pass breakups.
New Orleans Breakers quarterback Kyle Sloter was 15/36 for 155-yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and two carries for 12-yards.
Breakers’ running back Jordan Ellis had 12 carries for 42-yards, while wide receiver Jonathan Adams had four catches for 60-yards and one touchdown. Breakers’ wide receiver Johnnie Dixon was second in receiving with four catches for 29-yards and one touchdown. The Breakers’ defense allowed 401-yards, 73 tackles, one interception, and three pass breakups.
