HIGHLIGHTS: IMSA Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio

IMSA racing at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Road Course

On Sunday afternoon, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship were at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the Lexus Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio.

Chip Ganassi Racing drivers Renger Van Der Zande and Sebastien Bourdais won the pole in DPi, while PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports drivers Josh Pierson and Patrick Kelly won the pole in LMP2. Andretti Autosport drivers Gabby Chaves and Jarrett Andretti won the pole in LMP3, and Paul Miller Racing drivers Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow won the pole in GTD.

Konica Minolta drivers Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque won in DPi, and DragonSpeed USA drivers Juan Pablo Montoya and Henrik Hedman won in LMP2. Core Autosport drivers Colin Braun and Jon Bennett took home the win in LMP3, and Turner Motorsport drivers Robby Foley and Bill Auberlen won in GTD.

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship heads to the Raceway at Belle Isle Park on Saturday, June 4th, at 3 pm on Peacock and USA Network. Tickets for the race can be purchased thanks to our friends at StubHub.
