On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Eagles signed Pro Bowl cornerback James Bradberry to a one-year contract worth $10 million. Bradberry was released by the Giants on May 9th after the team could not find a trade partner.

James Bradberry (28-years-old) played 17 games in 2021 for the New York Giants with 46 tackles, 13 pass breakups, and four interceptions.

The Pleasant Grove, Alabama, native played two seasons for the Giants with 99 tackles, 31 pass breakups, and seven interceptions in 32 games. In 2020, he went to the Pro Bowl after making 53 tackles, 18 pass breakups, and three interceptions in 15 games.

Before signing with the Giants in 2020, Bradberry played four seasons with the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers drafted him in the second round (62nd pick) in the 2016 NFL Draft. Bradberry had 271 tackles, three sacks, 47 pass breakups, and eight interceptions.

James Bradberry started his collegiate career at Arkansas State (2011) as a redshirt freshman. In 2012, he transferred to Samford (2012-15).

He made 32 tackles, two interceptions, and two pass breakups in 11 games and was named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team in his first year at Samford. In four seasons, Bradberry had 128 tackles, 33 pass breakups, and eight interceptions in 46 games.
