On Saturday, the Repco Supercars Championship were at Winton Motor Speedway for race 13 of the Pizza Hut Winton SuperSprint.
Triple Eight Race Engineering driver Shane van Gisbergen started the race on the pole but did not win the race. Tickford Racing driver Cameron Waters started in second place. He led 26 laps, including the last 12 laps, in a heated battle to win the race by .400 seconds over Shane van Gisbergen. It was Waters’ first win of the season. There were no cautions and four lead changes.
The rest of the top ten finishers were David Reynolds third, Chaz Mostert fourth, Lee Holdsworth fifth, Scott Pye sixth, Brodie Kostecki seventh, Anton de Pasquale eighth, Andre Heimgartner ninth, and Broc Feeney tenth.
