On Saturday night at Protective Stadium, the Birmingham Stallions (6-0) took on the Michigan Panthers (1-5).
Birmingham Stallions’ quarterback J’Mar Smith was 12/25 for 135-yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, and one carry for 13-yards. Stallions’ running back Bo Scarbrough had 16 carries for 105-yards, one touchdown, and two catches for 15-yards, while wide receiver Osirus Mitchell had four catches for 63-yards and one touchdown. The Stallions’ defense allowed 289-yards with 55 tackles, two sacks, one interception, and four pass breakups.
Michigan Panthers’ quarterback Shea Patterson was 24/35 for 209-yards, one touchdown, one interception, three carries for five yards, and one touchdown. Panthers’ running back Reggie Corbin had 16 carries for 71-yards, and one catch for seven yards, while wide receiver Devin Ross had seven catches for 65-yards and one touchdown. The Panthers’ defense gave up 332-yards and made 65 tackles, three sacks, and one pass breakup.
