The NTT IndyCar Series qualified for the 106th Indianapolis 500 at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway for two days.
For the fifth time in his career, Chip Ganassi Racing driver Scott Dixon will start on the pole with a lap time of 2:33.8162. He broke Scott Brayton’s speed (233.718 mph) record set in 1996 with a new speed of 234.046 mph. Dixon is looking for his second Indy 500 win.
Qualifying second is his teammate, Alex Palou, with a lap time of 2:34.1761 at 233.499 mph, and Ed Carpenter Racing driver Rinus VeeKay wraps up the front row with a lap time of 2:34.2516 at 233.386 mph.
