During Friday’s NTT IndyCar Series practice of the Indianapolis 500, Andretti Autosport w/Curb-Agajanian driver Colton Herta got loose, hitting the turn one wall, and his car flipped upside down. Herta let his crew know that he was ok and the team is going to a backup car for Sunday’s race.
Colton Herta took to Twitter to let everyone know that he was ok. “Well, first off, I’m fine. More importantly, we’re moving to the backup car and will be ready to race Sunday. Thank you to everyone at the medical center and, of course, the on-track safety team.”
The 106th running of the Indianapolis 500 is this Sunday at 11 am on NBC.
