On Sunday night at Carey Stadium, the Ocean City Nor’easters (2-0-1) took on West Chester United SC (3-2).
West Chester United SC went up 1-0 three minutes into the game when midfielder Levi Maruca launched a curling shot that went 25 yards and into the net for the goal. West Chester United SC led 1-0 at halftime.
In the second half, the Nor’easters tied the game. In the 49th minute, Alessandro Arlotti scored his third straight goal with a nice volley kick into the back of the net that tied the game 1-1.
Then in stoppage time, the Nor’easters scored the game-winning goal by Nicolas Cam Orellana for his second goal of the season and a 2-1 lead. The Nor’easters won the game 2-1 and got two points in the standings.
The Nor’easters visit Don Thomas Stadium next Saturday against Reading United AC at 7 pm on Eleven Sports. Tickets for the game can be purchased on the USL League Two website.
