On Saturday night at Alvernia University, the Ocean City Nor’easters (3-0-1) shut out their long-time rivals Reading United AC (2-1-3) with a 2-0 win. It was Ocean City’s first shutout of the season.

Ocean City goalkeeper Felix Schafer made six saves. The Nor’easters finished the night with 15 shots, six corner kicks, six fouls, and two yellow cards.

On Wednesday night, the Nor’easters return to the “Beach House” at Carey Stadium against Lehigh Valley United (0-3-1) at 7 pm on Eleven Sports. Tickets for the game can be purchased at oceancityfc.com.
