Richard Panik scores for Chicago as they tie the series up 1-1 in the Calder Cup Finals

On Monday night at the Allstate Arena, the Chicago Wolves tied the series with a 6-2 win over the Springfield Thunderbirds in game two of the Calder Cup Finals.

Chicago Wolves forward Josh Leivo (12,13) scored two goals, while Richard Panik (4), Spencer Smallman (2), Joey Keane (1), and Andrew Poturalski (6) scored one goal. Meanwhile, Thunderbirds defenseman Calle Rosen (1) and Will Bitten (8) scored for Springfield. The Wolves had 41 shots, 2/6 on the power-play, and the Thunderbirds had 24 shots and 1/7 on the power-play.

Chicago Wolves goalie Pyotr Kochetkov made 22 saves, and Thunderbirds goalie Joel Hofer made 35 saves. Game three of the Calder Cup Finals is Wednesday at 8 pm on AHL.TV.
