On Monday, the Reading Royals re-signed forward Shane Sellar, forward Tyler Kirkup, and defenseman Dominic Cormier for the 2022-23 season.
Shane Sellar (25-years-old) played three games for the Royals. The Carlisle, Pennsylvania, native played 39 games for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with seven goals and five assists (12 points). In addition to RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Sellar played three seasons at Dartmouth College with 16 goals and 24 assists (40 points).
Tyler Kirkup (24-years-old) played six games for the Royals last season. He spent four seasons at Bemidji State University with 21 goals and 27 assists (48 points). Last season, the Virden, Manitoba, native had 12 goals and six assists (18 points).
Dominic Cormier (24-years-old) had 16 goals and 19 assists (35 points) in 62 games last year in Reading. The Moncton, New Brunswick, native played two games in the AHL for the Laval Rocket and Springfield Thunderbirds. This will be Cormier’s third season in the ECHL with 17 goals and 23 assists (40 points). He previously played for the Rapid City Rush, Wheeling Nailers, and Allen Americans in the 2020-21 season.
