On Friday, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers released defensive back Tyquwan Glass. The Pasadena, California, native played three games with eight tackles this season.
Tyquwan Glass (28-years-old) began his CFL career in 2018 with the Montreal Alouettes with 39 tackles. In 2019, he played 14 games for the Edmonton Eskimos with 29 tackles, six tackles on special teams, and three interceptions. Last season, Glass returned to Montreal with 27 tackles and one sack in seven games.
Before coming to the CFL, Glass played at Mt. San Antonio Junior College in Walnut, California, from 2012-14. In 2014, he had 38 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and seven interceptions and earned the All-South Coast Conference honors. Then, Glass went to Fresno State (2015-16) with 119 tackles, six interceptions, 21 pass breakups, and one forced fumble. After college, Glass tried out for the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
