On Saturday, both the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship were at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut.
The Michelin Pilot Challenge had its regular Grand Sport and Touring Car classes, while the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship had GTD Pro and GTD.
Up first was the Michelin Pilot Challenge. There was a lot of fender bender in the race. In the end, Rebel Rock Racing’s Frank DePew and Robin Lindell won in Grand Sport, and JDC MotorSports Chris Miller and Mickey Taylor won in Touring Car.
In the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Pfaff Motorsports Porsche’s Matt Campbell and Mathieu Jaminet started the race on the pole and won the race in GTD Pro, while Paul Miller Racing’s Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow won the race GTD.
IMSA heads to Road America next month. The Michelin Pilot Challenge’s race is on Saturday, August 6th, at 2:10 pm on Peacock, while the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race is on Sunday, August 7th, at 2:40 pm on Peacock and USA Network.
