Edmonton Elks acquires wide receiver Llevi Noel from Ottawa

On Monday, the Edmonton Elks acquired veteran wide receiver Llevi Noel and a 2023 eighth-round pick from the Ottawa Redblacks for a 2023 seventh-round pick. The 31-year-old from Toronto, Ontario, played six games for the Redblacks.

Noel played 14 games at the University of Toronto Varsity Blues (2013-14) with 75 catches for 1,260 yards and six touchdowns. In 2015, Noel played for the Windsor AKO Fratmen (CJFL) with 25 catches for 398 yards and six touchdowns.

The Toronto Argonauts drafted Noel in the fourth-round (31st pick) in the 2016 CFL Draft. Noel played 74 games in five seasons, with the Argo’s making 82 catches for 869 yards, four touchdowns, and one carry for two yards. In addition, Noel has 18 kick returns for 370 yards.
