On Saturday, the Repco Supercars Championship were at The Bend Motorsport Park in Tailem Bend, South Australia, for the OTR SuperSprint Race 21.
Zak Best started the race on the pole. He led the opening 11 laps before losing the lead to Shane Van Gisbergen. Best finished in fifth place. Shane Van Gisbergen led the last 13 laps to win the race over Will Davison by 2.222 seconds. The win ends Ford’s streak of eight consecutive wins at The Bend Motorsport Park.
The rest of the top ten finishers were Chaz Mostert third, Cam Waters fourth, Zak Best fifth, Brodie Kostecki sixth, Broc Feeney seventh, David Reynolds eighth, Anton De Pasquale ninth, and Andre Heimgartner tenth. Race 22 is tonight at 10:30 pm on MotorTrend+
