On Thursday, the Reading Royals signed former Adirondack Thunder forward Eric MacAdams for the 2022-23 season. The 25-year-old from Salem, Massachusetts, played two games for the Thunder last year with an assist (1 point).

MacAdams played two seasons in the USHL with the Sioux Falls Stampede and the Dubuque Fighting Saints with 23 goals and 20 assists (43 points) in 105 games. In addition, MacAdams scored a goal and two assists (3 points) in 11 games in the USHL playoffs.
Then, MacAdams played five seasons at the University of New Hampshire (2017-2021) with 20 goals and 30 assists (50 points) in 143 games. He was an alternate captain in his last two seasons with the Wildcats. After his collegiate career ended, he signed with the Adirondack Thunder.
