On Tuesday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders announced they have released wide receiver Jacob Prall and offensive lineman Na’Ty Rodgers.
Jacob Prall is a 24-year-old from Tipp City, Ohio. Prall played six games for the Roughriders this year with nine catches for 99 yards. Prall signed with the Roughriders on April 14th. He played four seasons at Brown University (2016-19) with 130 catches for 1,627 yards, six touchdowns, 20 carries for 139 yards, and three touchdowns in 40 games. In addition, Prall had 16 kick returns for 335 yards.
Na’Ty Rodgers is a 27-year-old from Seattle, Washington, and played in nine games for the Roughriders this year. He’s played 23 games in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes (10 games) and the Ottawa Redblacks (4 games). Rodgers signed with the Roughriders in January.
In addition, Rodgers played in the XFL with the Tampa Bay Vipers and Seattle Dragons. Rodgers played 20 games in two seasons at right tackle for Houston (2016-17). Before Houston, Rodgers played at Iowa Western Community College for two seasons, winning back-to-back ICCAC Conference Championships.
