On Wednesday, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms signed former Colorado Eagles forward Trey Bradley to a one-year contract for the 2022-23 season. Trey Bradley is the son of former NHL player Brian Bradley, who played 14 seasons in the NHL with the Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
He scored 182 goals and 321 assists (503 points) in 651 games. In addition, Bradley has three goals and seven assists (10 points) in 13 career playoff games. Brian Bradley is a two-time all-star and retired after the 1997-98 season.
The 26-year-old from Tampa, Florida, split last season playing ten games for the Colorado Eagles with four assists and 38 games for the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) with 18 goals and 28 assists (46 points), helping the Grizzlies win the Mountain Division.
In addition, Bradley scored six goals, and 13 assists (19 points) in the 2021-22 ECHL playoffs as the Grizzlies were eliminated in the conference finals to the Toledo Walleye.
Bradley played two seasons in the USHL with the Youngstown Phantoms and Sioux Falls Stampede, scoring 11 goals and 40 assists (51 points) in 87 games. In addition, he played one USHL playoff game as the Stampede won the USHL Clark Cup Champion in the 2014-15 season.
Then, Bradley played four seasons at Colorado College (2015-18) with 31 goals and 56 assists (87 points) in 120 games. After his collegiate career ended, Bradley signed with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) with an assist in two games.
In the 2019-20 season, Bradley signed with the Newfoundland Growlers (ECHL), scoring 14 goals and 20 assists (34 points) in 48 games. After the season, Bradley signed with the Utah Grizzlies, scoring ten goals and 37 assists (47 points) in 65 games during the 2020-21 season. In addition, Bradley scored a goal and an assist (2 points) in three playoff games.
