In Saskatchewan, running back Jamal Morrow underwent surgery for a broken hand and will miss several weeks. Meanwhile, there will be a new receiving core as Shaq Evans (ankle), Duke Williams (ankle), Mitchell Picton (ankle), Justin McInnis (ankle), and Wesley Lewis (ankle) are out Friday night.

Meanwhile, Michael O’Connor will start for the Lions after star quarterback Nathan Rourke underwent surgery on his right foot this week and hopes to return before the end of the season.
