Mitchell Tinsley scores a touchdown as Penn State beats Purdue 35-31

On Thursday night at Ross–Ade Stadium, the Penn State Nittany Lions battled back to a 35-31 win over the Purdue Boilermakers. Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford went 20/37 for 282 yards, four touchdowns, one interception, five carries for 11 yards, and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Nittany Lions running back Kaytron Allen had eight carries for 31 yards, while wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley had seven catches for 84 yards and one touchdown. Penn State’s defense allowed 426 yards, 51 tackles, two sacks, and eight pass breakups.

Purdue quarterback Aidan O’Connell was 29/58 for 356 yards and one touchdown while running back King Doerue had 15 carries for 57 yards and two touchdowns. Purdue wide receiver Charlie Jones had 12 catches for 153 yards, and one touchdown, while the defense allowed 406 yards, 62 tackles, one sack, six pass breakups, and one touchdown.
