On Wednesday, the Reading Royals signed former Atlanta Gladiators forward Kamerin Nault to a one-year contract for the 2022-23 season. The 27-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, scored nine goals and five assists (14 points) in 26 games last year with the Gladiators.
Kamerin Nault played four seasons with the Winnipeg Blues (MJHL) with 98 goals and 105 assists (203) in 99 games. In addition, he scored 14 goals and 12 assists (26 points) in the playoffs, helping the Blues win the 2013-14 championship.
Then, Nault played three seasons at the University of Manitoba (USports) with 16 goals and ten assists (26 points) in 46 games. In addition, he played two games in the playoffs.
After his USports career ended, Nault signed with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in 2018, scoring 12 goals and nine assists (21 points) in 20 games. The Swamp Rabbits loaned Nault to the Manitoba Moose for one game, scoring a goal and an assist (2 points).
In the ECHL, Nault has played four seasons with Greenville, Kansas City Mavericks, and Atlanta Gladiators, scoring 37 goals and 33 assists (70 points) in 99 games. Meanwhile, in the AHL, Nault played five games for the Manitoba Moose and Charlotte Checkers with a goal and an assist (2 points).
