Owls running back Darvon Hubbard scores a touchdown in a 30-14 win

On Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field, the Temple Owls picked up their first win of the season with a 30-14 win over the Lafayette Leopards.

Temple quarterback E.J. Warner was 14/19 for 173 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Darvon Hubbard had ten carries for 59 yards, and one touchdown, while wide receiver Jose Barbon had eight catches for 118 yards.

Temple’s defense allowed 110 yards, 63 tackles, eight sacks, and four pass breakups. Temple hosts Rutgers next Saturday at 2 pm on ESPN+.
