On Sunday at Ford Field, the Philadelphia Eagles kicked off the 2022 season with a 38-35 win over the Detroit Lions.
Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts was 18/32 for 243 yards, 17 carries for 90 yards, and one touchdown. Running back Miles Sanders had 13 carries for 96 yards and one touchdown, while wide receiver A.J. Brown had ten catches for 155 yards.
Philadelphia’s defense allowed 386 yards, 57 tackles, one sack, four pass breakups, one interception, and one touchdown. The Eagles play the Minnesota Vikings next Monday at 8:30 pm on ABC.
Detroit quarterback Jared Goff was 21/37 for 215 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and two carries for nine yards. Running back D’Andre Swift had 15 carries for 144 yards and one touchdown, while wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown had eight catches for 64 yards and one touchdown.
Detroit’s defense allowed 455 yards, 74 tackles, one sack, and five pass breakups. Detroit plays the Washington Commanders next Sunday at 1 pm on FOX.
